I have three main quadrants open to study the NT:
1) Bible text in the upper left
2) Language helps in the lower left
3) Commentaries on the right side
I have link sets "A" on everything tied to the bible text.
Here is the suggestion, when I change bible texts, L4 just grinds and grinds for 8-10 seconds before everything changes. L4 developers, why not immediately change the selected tab in each of the three quadrants and then change the remaining tabs in background thread(s)? In other words, change the tabs the user is seeing and change what they can't see in background thread(s).
The software appears to change every tab in all three quadrants before showing the user the new view.
Changing three tabs (again, one in each quadrant) should be almost instantaneous, not having to wait 8-10 seconds, that's painful.
