Lent Sale or No Lent Sale, That is the Question....

There are three that are marked down already. But Lent doesn't technically begin until Ash Wednesday, so I'm guessing they haven't set the prices to their sale price values yet, and will do that sometime before the end of the business day Bellingham time on Wednesday.

It looks to me that those are the sale prices, but the display is bit odd. For example, "Meditations for Great Lent" by Vassilios Papavassiliou appears on the sale page as $7.95, and that's the price that also appears crossed out (making it look as though it's not on sale). But when you click on the resource itself, its actual price is $9.95.

For many people Lent doesn't even begin until you've been to an Ash Wednesday service, and they are often held in the evening, so as far as I'm concerned I can still have ice cream until 7pm tonight (just kidding; I'm not giving up ice cream; my Lenten practice is more complex than that), and it's OK if Logos hasn't set the Lenten sale prices yet.

But if we do Lent the traditional way, we get to break the Lenten fast on Sundays, as they are feast days, so we can buy all the books we want, only just one day a week. [:)]

Ahh, but that is the "traditional way" only in the west :-) The Orthodox logos-abstainers have to give up for 40 whole days...
