BUG: Unable to search for Verses across Chapters

I am unable to search for verses references with multiple Chapters. Lets say I have a Bible Reference 2 Kings 23-25. I want to be able to find any verses in this range. So I search for 2 Kings 24:7 and nothing shows up. If I have another reference such as 2 Kings 23:1-8 and I search for 2 Kings 24:7 that result shows up in the Basic Search. Is this a new bug or a long standing problem? Maybe I missing something here? Please help!

Yes, this helps. In you example if you seach for exactly the reference 2 Kings 24-25 it works but if you are searching within that verse 2 Kings 25:3 it does't work. It appears that it works if I use <bible intersect 2 Kings 25:3>.

Here is what I am trying to do: I created a Personal Books with Maps Links and Verses. I put this into a collection called maps. I created a custom guide called Maps I then right click from my bible with a specific reference chozen to search this collection to see if there are any maps within that verse range. My search ignores verses with multiple chapters. Other than altering the search every time I may have to go back and break all those references in individual chapters- 2 Kings 24:1-20 and 25:1-30 instead of 2 Kings 24-25. Is there a way to avoid this?

I don't find any additional cases by breaking the chapters so I'm not finding the problem. I'll try one more thing so try to identify your problem but it will take a while.

Your misunderstanding what I am saying. If you only search for a single verse within that range and with intersect then it won't find it but if you search for exactly both Chapters then it will appear in the search.

is the default search from right clicking from my Bible to search the verse in Basic search . This misses searches across chapter boundaries.

This has been the default since Logos 4 in order to avoid results that normally have no relevance. So you have to change the operator to intersect for the wider range you want.
