Problem with copying on windows 8 tablet

Hello, I just bought a windows 8 tablet and everything is working just great. The only problem i have is that i have no idea how to mark more then one word in logos. That means i can't copy text or highlight. If i try to do that text of a commnetary it just scrolls. Because to copy a text in this tablet i need to do it the same was as on normal windows pc. I know i can download windows app, but i like pc version better.

Maybe somebody is using a simmilar tablet and can help?

Ok, thats correct, but you get my point. I did not mean that every pc works with Windows, i know about Mac.

Oh, now, my Bama friend. It is easy to be confused when you are a Mac fan!

What kind of Windows tablet are you using? I use a Surface Pro 2, and use a wireless mouse or the stylus pen for highlighting text to copy. It works great, and I use the "PC windows" version of Logos, too.

Are you highlighting with your finger? Or a device. I suspect a wireless mouse might work better.

It completely baffles me that someone who admittedly can be of no help still feels compelled to post.

Edgars; A free downloadable app called touchmousepointer will solve your issue. It allows one to use the whole touch screen as a touchpad.

Michael's suggestion of an external mouse works as well. ... but this works if you don't have one handy.

Yes with my finger. I have Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2. As I understand, I can copy only if i use mouse or download app. Thats sad

Logos treats Windows tablet users like red headed step children. As the market/popularity grows, they may see that it would profit them to make Logos more tablet friendly.

You shouldn't be baffled because a question clarifying the issue will help someone else to answer the question. MVP's do it all the time to insure a prompt response for new forum users and to save time for the next person by thinking to answer the question. One also responds to questions one cannot answer because the question is inappropriate and should not be answered in the forums or because it is an issue that requires technical services to answer.

Well, I really like all of y'all. But I wasn't confused, and seldom admit it if I am. And it is always a great pleasure to hear from my Southern comrade who is isolated so far, far up nawth. Especially when his football team is not beating mine. I still think I will stay away from Big Macs, both in hamburgers and computers.

But as to the issue of the thread, I digress.

It seems to me that it is very difficult to highlight for copying with just my finger on any tablet device due to the healthy size of my fingers. But I find the wireless mouse makes Logos on my Surface Pro tablet, (and I presume your tablet would be just as good,) the best Logos experience I have ever had. I recommend you try it a week or so, and get used to it. After all your tablet is newer than mine.

The problem is that Logos is not yet optimized for tablet use - I speak of the full blown Logos Windows program. But it really works very well on the tablet, and with just a little use becomes second nature. Just sharing my experience. I would not consider going back.
