I searched for this but failed to find anything. Is anyone running this laptop, and if so what has performance been like for Logos? Also, which XPS 13 are you running?
I've been looking at this machine myself. The model of choice is the non-touch version with an optional upgrade to 256GB 8GB RAM and i5. Since this puts it at $1100, I'd wait for a sale or just go MacBook Pro. Dell finally has a real peach, but it's a bit pricey. If you must have a Win machine, this model from Lenovo is the only machine that might rival a MacBook Pro (ain't cheap either):

I looked at the XPS 13 also, but Dell only gives you 8GB ram and 256GB SSD.
So i went for the MacBook Pro.
The Macbook Pro here http://store.apple.com/us/buy-mac/macbook-pro?product=MF841LL/A&step=config is the same price as the XPS 13 here, http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-13-9343-laptop/pd?oc=dncwt5132b&model_id=xps-13-9343-laptop. While they both boast 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, the XPS is running an i7 rather than the Macbook's i5. The upgrade to the i7 is an extra $200, plus there is $100 discount on the XPS right now so apples to apples the XPS comes out being $300 cheaper, at least in the top end, which since Logos can be a bit of a resource hog, is where I am looking.
The SSD in the Mac is PCIe which is faster than the SATA drive SSD in the XPS. I doubt there's any significance in going from i5 to i7 for Logos.
Whatever floats your boat. You really can't go wrong when all the machines are more than competent. You're blessed to have such a wonderful decision.
It is a large purchase, and one I will need to last for some time. Thanks for your input.
