Trouble Downloading Resources

I tried to go in and download a new resource for off line reading. When I clicked the "available offline" button and clicked "done" nothing really happened. When I went in to my library to see if it had been downloaded there was just an orange logo with the down arrow.

I thought maybe there was a limit to the amount of resources that could be downloaded so I un-checked some of my other resources and then went back in and tried to re-downlaod...no luck.

Am I missing something here?

You're doing it right When you click "Available off-line" the book begins to download (which is what the orange down-arrow button indicates). The book is finished downloading when the orange button turns into a red airplane button (There is an exception to this. Certain books have "No cover." These books will not display either the orange download arrow or the red airplane, but they can and will download). Don't leave wi-fi mode before the books are finished downloading or they won't be available. If you are downloading a coverless book, you might want to give it a few minutes to be sure it has fully downloaded. Large books obviously take longer to download (ISBE, for example, took well over 10 minutes. But it's over 4000 pages long!). Once the books have been downloaded (red airplane button is present) you can leave the wi-fi zone or turn on airplane mode and still access those books offline.

The only limit to what you donwload would be the size of your ipod/iphone.

Thanks for the quick reply David. I think I kept quitting the program too quickly because I didn't see any progress. Patience is key...

Np In my experience, books in logos take a little longer to download than books in other e-reader programs (like stanza), but I'm pretty sure that's because they tend to be longer.
