Mark - what about for those serving in sensitive contexts?
The same applies. I can only describe what the site does and what data it stores/processes. Each user needs to assess risk for themselves. The site isn't super-secure (no https for example) but it's reasonably secure, and is very unlikely to be targeted by hackers. The amount of personal information is minimal, and you can give fake data if you're worried. But in a very small number of contexts (e.g. if you think your connection is being intercepted and monitored, and you don't want snoopers knowing what books you own), then this site isn't for you.

Secondly, I own NICOT/NT save one resource which I can ferret out with a little work, but your program makes me lazy and I would like it to identify which resource is new to me as it is your program does not recognize any of the volumes I already own. Is there a way to remedy this?

And/or if feasible, to add the first letter navigation that's on most of the tabs to the All Resources tab? I think I'm wandering a bit beyond your intended usage.
I relented on this, and have made the change. It's rather unwieldy, to say the least, but at least you can find resources by name, now.

I have had a couple other opportunities to use your site Mark as other dynamic pricing products have popped up. I am getting the hang of it and this is really a very valuable and useful resource. Thanks again for providing it to us!

The file that you upload to the server
After I find the resource Manager file and double click, the window disappears but nothing further happens. It still shows the "upload your library" page and when I check the resources tab, it shows I own 0 resources. Thanks for the help, cant wait to use this

You should get the green bar slowing filing up. What browser are you using?

I'm using Microsoft Edge
I can't test on Edge at the moment, sorry. Can you try IE or Chrome for now?

Yes I am willing but didn't think Windows 10 was compatible with Chrome/IE. It only showed up to 8.1 on the download page. I am just now getting back up and running after my Windows 10 upgrade of death as mention elsewhere

Well, after my upgrade of death, Edge isn't working!
But you can still install Chrome if you wish, that's not problem. And IE is still built into Windows 10 for businesses that need it. It should be installed for you and accessible from the start menu.

Maybe that's why their sites were down yesterday...they had to integrate your site into theirs. [Y]

Even with this I still prefer how your site extracts those resources which are new for seeing them all more easily. Thanks Mark, another phenomenal contribution!Mark Barnes said:Have you noticed what Logos has started doing

Wow, I never would have noticed if Mark hadn't pointed it out. I was just on a page today where I wondered what was new to me. It's a large collection, so I didn't scroll all the way to the bottom, which is where the new to me icons are. Even if I had seen them, I wouldn't have known what they were. But it's certainly an improvement, and at least now I know it's there; though I will still try Mark's when I get a chance.

I couldn't find it at first either Whyndell. Did you scroll all the way to the bottom? It's past the descriptions of the individual book entries, right before the reviews start.

Thank you. I see what you mean by unwieldy: some of those pages are quite large. The resources names that start with articles (a,an,the) especially make the [a] and [t] pages huge. It's extremely helpful for locating a specific resource, but I do hope it's not too tough on your server.
BTW, I notice the traits on Home, aren't linking. I thought those were working at one point, but I don't remember if I remember correctly.

I see this also on Edge. The progress bar never updates. The text below the progress bar ("Please wait while the file is uploaded. On an average connection....") doesn't show. It's a bit weird because it acts like the Cancel button was pressed in the Open dialog or it fails (security issue?). I say that because normally the Open dialog remembers the directory you selected when you press Ok, and it happens this way on Chrome & Firefox: if you do the upload and then come back and do it again it remembers the directory. On Edge it does not remember the directory selected the last time. Not sure, but regardless it does seem to fail sometime between the Open dialog and before any text or status is shown.

Then they left out a LOT. But it is a very welcome and appreciated step in the right direction.

Hi Mark. I hope you will keep your site going for now. Although Logos has implemented this feature (which we have been asking for for ages), it is limited. The way the data is employed by your site is brilliant.

I've updated my site with a couple of small new features.
(1) It's now easier to find out how much a resource costs, and how you can buy it:
(2) Vyrso books are flagged up more clearly:

Mark,
I am still using your program. Word Biblical Commentaries 62 volumes missed 2Cor 2nd ed Ralph P. Martin 2014 as one of the resources which is new to me. Would you please investigate and address this error? Thank you so very much.

Excellent website! I've updated my library, and it gives a very good overview and a good way to search for specific resources.
One question. After uploading, it said there was one new resource which was unique to me, and I've been wondering what kind of mysterious and rare resource that is. It there a way to find it out?

Dear Mark,
I tried accessing the site a few days ago, but today when I tried there was a problem... the page links to http://www.mylogoslibrary.com/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi - is this being discontinued?
Regards
Matthew

It's no longer needed. Faithlife has added equivalent functionality to the bottom of every single product page on Logos.com.

Not "every single product"... For example: https://www.logos.com/product/122907/messianic-jewish-publishers-library-expansion-bundle
Logos 7 Collectors Edition

That's still in prepub so your example doesn't work.
