Allowing the ESV Audio Bible to be downloaded and used offline.

I am often without Wifi on my phone and computer and would like to be able to listen to the Word which is available through Logos. Even so I have a terrible broken down version through audible it is not book by book or chapter by chapter. I would like to be able to use the audio format through Logos without an internet connection since it makes to so easy to listen to just what i want to hear.

I am not sure, but I think this was discussed several years back. If I recall correctly this could not be done because of a licensing restriction.

Idont get the issue with a license since they allow me to "purchase it" even if it is listed at 0 dollars. The act of buying something with a transaction even a free one should mean I have access to a license of that product.
Anyway if that is the issue I wish I could use the very same audio licence I own, since I bought a copy and have that work through logos. Where someone has done the work of marking the timestamps of each verse and each chapter.

I own it in Logos and on disc.
It seems reasonable to me that we should not try to tap-dance up to or over the licensing restriction lines. If you don't like the line, don't get the product at all. If you get the product, abide by the licensing. Faithlife only has so much say in these matters.
(Hope that doesn't come across harsher than I intend it...)

It does sound a little harsh, but that's fine I understand the point. I am not trying to tap dance around the license issue. I own it in logos and through audible which I have fully downloaded. The problem is I cannot use the one from logos off line and the one I have downloaded is not broken into books and is very hard to make bookmarks for each chapter let alone verse as logos has done in timestamp form for easy search and retrieval.

As previously mentioned, Faithlife must honor license agreements with publishers, and in this case the publisher doesn't allow the ESV audio to be downloaded and used offline through Faithlife software.
As a possible alternative you might consider the LEB although it's (obviously) a different translation and only has audio for the New Testament. On the other hand, audio for the Lexham English Bible can be downloaded and used offline.0 -
Audible allows for download and offline listening. Why is Logos restricted?

That would be a question for Crossway, not Faithlife.

I think the question is asked here because it seems like someone at Faithlife would know the answer. Seems like a question that would come up during the licensing process.
