The 1,100 dollars it shows I have towards the dynamic price might as well be useless.
They'll be smaller collections available from September. This one is really for people who already own a lot of Zondervan/Thomas Nelson stuff. For me personally, this discount is far too small to be tempting. A $15,000 collection ought to be discounted by at least 40% in my opinion.
Truly not for the faint-hearted [:O]
I laughed when I checked- $6700- sat what- no thanks.[:|]

Indeed, and because of the relationship Zondervan and FL customers have had in the past, there may not be a large number of folks who do already own a lot of Zondervan materials.

My dynamic price was over $8,800. Regular price shows $14,785, so that's almost $6,000 off. Doesn't help me. Might help someone.

Agreed.
Look on the bright side: you won't have to spend any of the mortgage proceeds on new library space and shelves.
When this was first announced, I resigned myself to not taking part in the sale. But then I was pleased when they put up the Sale Event page. There are smaller collections available at the bottom. They don't show dynamic pricing right now, but when they do, I will be able to pick up a few of those collections ranging from $10 to $100. Not bad! So I'm happy I'll be participating after all, and I've already put what I want in my cart. Of course, now I'm impatient for September 1!
Beginning to think we need to put our Logos wish lists into a Kickstarter campaign. My price is over $9K. There's only a handful of books I'd buy at this point with what I already have.
Still, this is a real bargain compared to the jet one minister thinks he must have. [;)]

I want to keep my home (and Logos). I believe that God will continue to use me without the jet (or even the car). Another topic and off-topic, but I just had to throw that one in. [:)]
$9,882.46 is more than I am willing to entertain...

$13,921.86.
$2,439.82 entertaining it
I'm not really interested in most of the Thomas Nelson stuff, but I'm being offered The Complete Zondervan Bundle for $898.25. For that, I'll get:
So if I was to buy everything separately, it will cost me $1,134.81 - a saving of $236.56, or just over 20%. A discount of 20% is nowhere near enough to tempt me to purchase products I've already been passing over for years.

Zondervan bundle: $8,015.93. Should I click buy?
NO!!!!! The sale doesn't start till September 1st. You will pay more if you order now if my understanding is correct.

My understanding is that the larger collections are already on sale and already dynamically priced. You can see the break down on the individual product page if you rest your cursor over the grey question mark in front of "Dynamic Price." The smaller collections won't show dynamic pricing or a sale price until September.
Nicely expressed - my thoughts are much the same.
My understanding is that the larger collections are already on sale and already dynamically priced.
They are dynamically priced but I'm not sure they're on sale. Usually sale prices are in red.
I'm in no hurry for these prices anyway. Waiting a couple of weeks is a good idea.

I guess it's better to say they're on a preorder sale, as shown in this screenshot. The regular price is crossed out and there's a lower price listed beneath. The question is what will the sale price be when it comes off of preorder? (Either way, I won't be purchasing this particular collection.)
This is 100% correct. The price the larger bundles are now is the price they'll be on September 1. So if you're interested in the larger bundles, you can safely purchase now.
The smaller collections will be on dynamically priced and on sale on September 1.
