Request: Multiview and Corresponding Words

First, I finally subscribed to Logos Now. The concordance feature was enough to make me know that I would, but I haven't had much time. The multiview feature pushed me over the edge. I have been asking for this kind of capability for a long time, and I really appreciate having it.

The "Corresponding Words" visual filter is nice, but it's missing one important capability - an "Exact Surface Text" option. In this mode, hovering over a word would highlight that word and the corresponding word / words in all other resource, but only in that specific location.

The "Same Word" feature is nice so you can see when the same word is used in close proximity in all the open resources. But the majority of the time I simply want to see *only* the corresponding word/words in the other resources, particularly in the case of original language resources.

I'd like to ask Faithlife to consider adding that option to the Corresponding Words visual filter.

I think so, Bradley, but I'll confess that I'm not a heavy user of sympathetic highlighting. So I was trying to describe the requirement in terms of Multiview's approach to hover-based highlighting via "Corresponding Words."

I don't need the highlighting to work outside of the resources in the particular multiview window in question, and probably wouldn't want it to work that way.

Oh, I see. I can see how it would be helpful to have options for verse, paragraph, pericope, chapter, and book options for the corresponding words.
