Bug in Multiple Resources

I have NET bible as the main book, I added NIV worked fine, when I switch the NIV out to NA28 GBS it reverts back to NIV if I close it out and open the NET back up, I cannot repeat this behaviour with other versions, like NASB, ESV, etc.

UPDATE: happens regardless of which Greek version I use- maybe something with NET is causing the behaviour?

I have tried to use multiple resources with NET- every version I try to tie to it is over written and the NIV replaces it whether English, Greek or Hebrew- this only happens with the NET version.

I am getting no errors shows and no error files are being generated. Log files attached:

Ok set NET/ SESB BHS/SESB LXX/ NET NOTES- deleted NET icon off tool bar, then with this new setup put it back on tool bar- it kept the changes.

I then deleted the BHS and LXX out of multiple resources, closed it out- then clicked the icon on tool bar, all the resources reappeared. This still only happens with the NET, but changes only take place after I delete the NET icon off tool bar.

Would this be a tool bar issue or NET issue- is anyone able to duplicate this?

If you were opening the NET from a shortcut or bookmark, then this is working correctly. The multi-resource configuration is saved with the shortcut, so opening using the shortcut will restore the settings saved with the shortcut. This allows you to create multiple shortcuts with different configurations. If you want to open your resource to the last configuration, then open it from the library, or the command bar, or from the last history item.

To clarify, the expected behaviour is that opening a resource from a shortcut will restore the multiview settings of that shortcut IF the shortcut was created by dragging an open panel to the shortcuts bar. If you created the shortcut by dragging the resource from the library or command box then the shortcut should have been creating without multiview configuration and therefore open to the last used configuration.

So Andrew's last sentence should be appended with "or a shortcut/favorit/bookmark created from one of those locations".

I have both NASB and NET saved as shortcut on tool bar:

1. NASB has LEB as MR, click shortcut it opens with these two resources as it should, I change LEB to UBS, close resource open from shortcut, what I see ids NASB and UBS5- like I intended.

I have utilized the same shortcut and changed nothing but the book in MR.

2. NET has Net notes, SESB-BHS, SESB-LXX, I open this using the shortcut for NET on the toolbar (just like the NASB), it opens as expected shows NET and the MR resources as expected- I changed the MR to NA28, I close this setup out.

I reopen NET it did not save the NA28 resource- this is opposite behaviour from the NASB.

I used the exact same process for each resource and got different results nasb saved the multiple resource change, but the NET did not- why?

Wish I knew how to make a video of this- its obviously something wrong with a process when you perform the same task on two books and get different responses- and by the way this never happened until the previous beta update.

Did you read my post above about different ways of creating the shortcuts? It does sound as though that's what's happened. If my post doesn't make sense, let me know what you want to happen when you open the NET Bible, and I'll post specific instructions that should work for you.

I will delete both resources when I get back to rv and select them from library again and repeat the process
