I have tried updating Microsoft .net 4.6. Tried to update Logos 6. When I click on the start icon, it comes to desk top and stops, and crashes.
Any possible solutions to this issue?
Hi Thomas,
welcome to the Logos user forums! Sorry to hear you have issues with Logos. Please start the application holding the Ctrl key down - this will invoke logging (and also automatically starting to a blank layout, if I recall correct. Otherwise there's a checkbox to do so: then check it).
Let Logos start and see whether it crashes automatically - or when you go to the homepage or whatever. When it doesn't, enjoy - and save your current layout before closing Logos. Otherwise, go to the Documents folder, from there in subfolder Logos Logs and put everything in there from today into a ZIP file and upload here, using the paperclip icon (see http://wiki.logos.com/diagnostic_logging for details)
Hope this helps or brings fellow users here (or even Faithlife employees) one step nearer to solve the problem.
Mick
I have tried that multiple times prior to this post. I have tried uninstalling logos and reinstalling but it will not let me log on the message says Logos and cease to work and closes before it begins. I called tech support we went through the process of uninstalling Web Companion-rebooting and still with the same results.
I am hoping to have my software running before the weekend approaches for sermon preparation.

With the assistance of Tech Support? If not, we need some logs as per the link in NB Mick's post. You enable logging first (or start it with CTRL key held), run Logos and then upload the compressed Logos Log Files folder after it crashes.
