Will Reftagger Work on Google Sites?

I am working on a web page on Google Sites and tried a couple of times to insert the code from Reftagger into the web page, but Reftagger did not work. I am not experienced so I don't have many things to try.

Also on Google Sites you can insert a table plugin from a Google Spreadsheet. I was wondering if the Reftagger could read the Bible verses in a Table on my web site? That would be a real good thing for my site.

I gave up on Google Sites.

No Reftagger !!

Too bad, Google Sites was working well except for the reftagger, and the price is affordable (free). Also Google probably indexes their sites well.

I got reftagger to work on a hosted site for WordPress, not free!

I wish someone with code knowledge would work on getting it to work on Google Sites. They have a place to insert Java code, and html code, but I could not get reftagger code to work.

By the way reftagger will preview the verses in the table plugins.
