notes in a bible

When I do a bible study I will sometimes put a note in a verse. Is there anyway I can place a note, for example in the ESV in the book of John verse 1 (or any verses) and it will show up in my other bibles?
It seems to me that at one time I could put a note in one version and the note(s) would show up in my other bibles and even in my main commentary.
thanks,
Charles

Yes, you can do that. But there are two ways of placing a note. You can make note that is attached to a selection of text, which will not show up in other Bibles. Or, you can make a note that is attached to a verse reference--this will show up in other Bibles.

You have to be aware what you are selecting. You can attach a note to either
1. a selection: this will only appear in the version of the Bible you are looking at.
OR
2. A verse/verse range: This will attach it to the reference and be available in all Bibles.

Thanks to the both of you for answers to my question. I think I must be doing something wrong as you say "you can make a note that is attached to a selection of text, which will not show up in other bibles... or you can make a note that is attached to a verse reference... this will show up in other bibles.'
Where do you do these selections to make a note? I've been highlighting a word in a verse then right clicking and then selecting "add a note on the notes on the gospels." I think I made "notes on the gospels" some time back.
thanks for your knowledge of Logos...

At the top right of the right- click menu, normally either the first or third entry.
Sorry, not at my computer so can't post a screenshot

Jacob:
Thanks for the video. It was very simple for a simple man (me) and cleared up my confusion. God blesses us in many ways and one way he blessed me is to meet you.
Thanks to all who have responded.

You may want to check out this article by Mo Procter on how to create your own study bible. It was written back in Logos 4 days but it still works.
Thanks for the video Jacob!
