Calling UK Logos Kindle users!

Can you tell me if the Logos send books to Kindle feature works on Kindle paperwhite in the UK?

Is there a difference between Kindle.com account and the one UK Kindle users have?

Would I be wasting my money purchasing a Kindle paperwhite in the hope I could use the send books to Kindle feature?
