Audio Recording

this week recorded the sermon everything seemed to go fine but at the end of the Sermon when i went to publish it said there was no Audio recording available for this presentation? is there somewhere I can go to see all of the presentation audio that we have recorded to date?

Hi, Phil. Prior to publishing, each audio file is associated with the presentation that was live during the audio recording. Post-publishing, all your sermons should be visible on soundfaith.com.

If you can give us a presentation name we'll take a look and see if there's an audio file associated with it.

Phil, I don't see any audio files associated with that presentation. Did the audio publishing window come up after your presentation and show an editable waveform of your sermon? I'm wondering whether an error occurred with the audio recording itself or the file somehow failed to sync to our servers.

No the Audio publishing window didn't open at the end of the presentation. That was the first time I had any hint of a problem. Do you have any suggestions how we can avoid this problem in the future?

The first thing I'd recommend is to double check your presentation beforehand and do a test recording, ensuring that it is properly recording. The presentation to which you refer has the correct cues in it; I have no explanation as to why it didn't record.

The second thing I'd recommend is that either you or whomever is running the presentation check back to the main app window to make sure this icon is shown next to Edit/Preview/On air:

The final recommendation that I would make is that if you do have a problem recording, please save the log file from that session (this file is refreshed each time Proclaim opens, so please make sure to grab the file from the session in question).
