Mind you, I'm not sure if this is positive or negative but notes I put on the MP training manual are appearing in Help!!
Have you attached the note to the headword instead of to the text?

What happens when you hover over the attachment point in the notes? A screenshot would be ideal. If not, a description of both the text and the exact reference that is shown in the lower right.
Yes, that's what's happened. You've attached the note to the headword/reference. You can tell because (1) the text in the popup isn't what you've highlighted, but the first paragraph under the headword, and (2) the text in your popup is coming from your highest prioritised help file rather than the current resource.
You probably just didn't notice that headword/reference was selected in the context menu when you created the note. You can reattach it to selected text if you wish.
