There have been a string of posts recently of people expressing discouragement at reporting typos that never get fixed. And I personally get frustrated at upgrading projects that never seem to get completed - recognizing the deuterocanonical as scripture, tagging of outlines etc. I'd like to suggest a change in procedure & communication that would help the user feel more supported.
- Each month, select one resource for upgrading based on the number of typos reported - not a strict count as some typos are reported as systemic. In the monthly update report mark this resource as chosen by typos received
- Each month, select one resource for upgrading based upon length of time waiting for additional tagging - again not strictly as the number of types of tags missing and the effect on Logos searches and tools also need to influence the mix. Again, report this resource as a special "catch-up".
Certainly more than one of each would be desirable but the intent is not to disrupt the current work cycle in a major way ... just to give the user a sense that the backlog really is being worked on.
