I do not understand this. It makes no sense whatsoever! When you get a video from Logos (whether it is Mobile Ed or something else) you have only ONE option: Download All Media. In a day and age of internet being throttled and streaming videos taking up a lot of bandwidth usage, it makes sense to watch videos from your computer, but with them downloaded to your computer. In the past I have tried to stream the Logos videos, but the quality was choppy and sometimes the buffering never even finished so I could not finish the video. So I gave up on that useless idea and started downloading the videos. The problem is, sometimes I want to specify which videos I want to download and when to download them. It makes no sense to have an all or nothing option. This is simply illogical. On your mobile device (phone or tablet) you can see how many MB a video is and you can choose which ones you want to download. I do not understand why that is not in the desktop app.
Therefore, I would like to suggest that Logos add the ability to choose which videos we want to download. I would like to be able to see how many MB each video is, and how many MB or GB it would be to download ALL. Also, I would like to be able to see the status of each video being downloaded. A status bar showing how much is left to download and how many MB is left to download for each video when downloading one at a time and for when you decide to download all at once. Also, I need the ability to delete and re-download individual videos. Sometimes videos do not download properly and I have to re-download them. Currently, all I can do is delete ALL videos and re-download ALL videos. THIS MAKES NO LOGICAL SENSE! It is a HUGE hassle!! Therefore, I need the ability to download, delete, and re-download individual videos as well as all videos. Currently, there are videos in Camp Logos 1 and Learn to Use Biblical Hebrew with Logos 6 that have not downloaded or downloaded correctly (as in, the video will not play). My only option is to delete the videos a second time and re-download them all a second time!! That is stupid, illogical, unreasonable, a hassle, and very frustrating! Therefore, more options for downloading and delete must be given to the user.
I would also like to see a pause option. Not just a cancel option. There are times I have to pause the download for some reason. Say, for example, I am at school and I am downloading Logos videos and class ends. Well, currently, all I have is the option to cancel the download and start it up again later on. There is no pause option so I can resume where it left off. I think the canceling and restarting is contributing to the problems I am having with video playback. So please add the aforementioned suggestions. It would greatly improve user experience in this area.
