Proclaim was delayed then froze

We had an issue with proclaim today. For the first part of the the service everything worked as normal. Then when we began our sermon slides (these were imported from power point) then transitioning began to be delayed and would freeze for a few seconds. This would freeze the entire program. We restarted proclaim then it worked well for a few minutes then we had the same issue. Then the entire program froze completely and it froze the computer as well to where we could not do anything.

Sorry to hear about the crash Daniel. Taking a look at your presentation and I'm noticing you have a video in what looks like the sermon section. Do you normally play video content in Proclaim?

Then the entire program froze completely and it froze the computer as well to where we could not do anything.

Just to be sure you I understand you -- did you have to reboot the computer to get around this? Or once you shut down Proclaim did the rest of the computer become responsive?

My guess is this is a video driver related issue. Please try updating Windows, ensuring your video drivers are up to date. If this does not resolve the issue there are a couple other things we can try.

At first we closed proclaim then we tried to restart proclaim but it would not open. Then we rebooted the computer. Then we opened proclaim again and had similar issues. Then while using proclaim the computer froze and we had to reboot the computer to get any response from the computer.

Yes, we do use Proclaim to play any videos or media needing to be played. Why would that be a problem?

Also, we started recording and uploading our sermon using Livestream for the 1st time this Sunday, but this was on a completely different computer. Uploading over the internet wouldn't have caused Proclaim to crash would it?

The fact that your operating system was unresponsive indicates an issue outside of Proclaim. Video drivers on Windows machines have been known to cause similar problems. Have you tried running Windows Update to see if there are any drivers available for your system?
