Bug: Certain tags not being removed

I tag monthly Logos Now resources with the month e.g. (Nov), (Dec) - with the parentheses. They are also tagged as Logos Now. Looking in Search menus I noticed some month tags that were obsolete as the resources had been removed. They do not appear in Library when filtered by "My Tags"

I even get duplicates!

If you're referring to December, the second tag has a closing curly bracket instead of standard parentheses: } not ).

Dave is what you saying, the Resource is gone but ;like your Scan" it still appears?

If so, I hat the same Problem but the Support hat no Idea to solve. I goes away if reinstall Logos (what is not realy a big Help) that's why I think is hat something to to with a File on your PC where all the mytags ar listet...

I had a similar problem. What I did was tag one resource with the tag I want to delete and then right mouse click on the tag and select delete tag from all resources. The tag no longer shows up. I do not tag temporary resources for this reason.

The user tags still exist in the Library Catalog database, but they are associated with resources that are marked as no longer available. Library must only look at resources that are available, whilst the Search engine must simply list all the user tags.

Hidden and deleted resources retain custom metadata (in case you later unhide or repurchase them).

I think there is a case for the software to NOT do that when deleting unlicensed resources!

I prefer the current behavior because I rarely add notes, clippings, metadata etc. unless I am seriously considering buying it.
