How do I insert a picture into a note?
It is my understanding that you can't add pictures to note documents. Your only option is to create a personal book.

Bradley - what if the pictures were merely linked to & hosted off site (not local)? Would that make it more viable or simply raise more issues?
One of the comments on there points out that OneNote or Evernote integration would allow pictures to be included, but not place load on Faithlife's servers. That seems like a good idea to me, and a much requested feature besides.
We've discussed that internally. It ends up being about as complex as actually implementing "allow images in notes" but with the drawback that you can no longer access the images if you're working offline or have an unreliable Internet connection.
If a service like dropbox were used, the user would always have access to them (at least on one computer) since dropbox keeps a folder with all files on the users computer. I do understand, however, that this puts you at the mercy of other companies, which may or may not be in existence in a year (or bought out by the competition, etc.).

But the path to the file could be different on each computer; that's one of the problems with Personal Book source materials right now, and one we don't want to repeat.
Yep. There are certainly some tradeoffs, and ones which users might not like.
