While I'm certain these marketing efforts are bound to be a bit more complicated than we think, John, it does seem that it would be a simple thing to filter what is sent to the email bots through an order history (even if it's a little old).
It's not a serious complaint but some websites can predict what I want to buy next with creepy accuracy. I regularly spend money at Logos.com but they haven't got me figured out yet...
