Is there an area in Logos 7 where I can go and journal ideas, thoughts and inspiration?

In the Layouts tab (top right hand corner of screen) there are now 'quickstart' options. These include 'Bible Journaling' and 'Devotional' options. Maybe one of these could be helpful to you?

For generic journaling, not connected to a bible passage, you could use the notes tool - found in the Documents menu.

In the content box while journaling, I would like for the first word of each sentence to start with a capital letter automatically. I currently have to do that manually with the shift key. is there a setting i can change to make that happen? this and previous statements are examples of what i mean.
