Please don't ask me any questions as all this should be self-explanatory.

Quite seriously, I have not STILL seen this? I have commentaries open, I click the little "i", I see much information, but nothing to do with stars. Where are they?
what an IDIOT! It's self-explanatory! (but even better with red-arrows! Thanks Dave!)
PS. After all that, I realized I was looking in the right place, but I couldn't see the grayed out stars. Dave's swell little diagram/procedure showed me where to look. I went back to "prove him wrong . . . because I had looked there a thousand times . . . but then I saw them! And now I am a happy camper! [:)] that was happens with old man eyes and glare on my screen.
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

ps. another joke gone bad. I don't mean any disparaging comments on the current programmers. i meant regarding the controversy about how detailed the beta release notes should be and, ah, well, nevermind. [:#]

Have a close look at the red arrows below the text.
It is terribly inconsiderate of you to ignore folks who are color blind.

How do you download the latest beta version? Is it a large download? Should I wait until it is finished and released? I'd like to see it, but don't want undue problems. Thank you for your reply and guidance.

The disclaimers are here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/8883.aspx don't let them scare you, I've had very few problems this beta cycle. The beta download itself is the same as a service release ~30MB, it's possible you will get some updated resources along the way too. The biggest investment is in the creation of the new "Bible only" index which will take a little while to complete. Also, check out the release notes for all the betas: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Beta_Release_Notes
