Bought Two Books, Logos 7 Did Not Index, Searching Does Not Find Content That is in These Two Books.

Well, the subject pretty much says it all. I bought two books, noticed the indexer didn't run after the books were downloaded. Started and restarted Logos 7. Indexer didn't run. Performed a search "everything" to see if known content in the two books showed up in search results. Didn't show.

Decided to buy a few desired books as a test. Books downloaded, this time the indexer ran. Performed a search on known content in the new books. Search found the content. Tried a search on the two books bought previously when the indexer did not run. A search still didn't find the known content.

So what can I do? I really don't want to reindex all 13K books.

Do the books appear in your library?

If not, try "update now" or "update resources" in command box

If so, try reindex LLS.... the id given in the Support information of the resource information panel.

Yes, they show in the library. I can see them, read them, etc.

Clicked on the info for each book. Under the heading "Index" it does say "Page." The other says "bibliographic, page." But there is nothing for search fields. I looked at the info for a few other books I own and they have search field details. Is it possible I bought two books without search field capability?

OK, just tried an inline search for "Plantinga" in one of the books. I know it is there. It doesn't show a hit when I try an inline search.

Well, I'm trying "reindex LLS:THNKNGTNPHLSPHY" in the command box next to "Tools" and press <Enter>, but nothing is happening.

You should have a bit of a lag then indexing should begin ...

Does the command appear as a drop down option you can select? I don't recall whether you must select or may just type ...

The full logs would probably tell us what was stopping the indexer from working.

Yeah... nether volume is reindexing from the command box. Maybe they don't reindex because they were never indexed to begin with. Five books purchased since these two downloaded properly and indexed properly. Is there a way to remove the books and have them download again and see if the indexer will kick in?
