copying and pasting search results

I did a Bible word study and want to paste the Scripture passages found to Word. I couldn't scroll and highlight the text. A right click had a copy option, but when I pasted it, I got the big circle but no Scripture. I have another program that can do this, but I am sure Logos can.

I got the passage list, but I am unable to copy and paste it. Also, I would like to have multiple versions with each passage. The other software I have can print KJV, Greek, Hebrew, Latin, and German for each verse in the list. Can Logos do that?

Thank you. I got the copy and paste part. When i try to change versions, I get a Top Bibles option, a list of all my collections, and then a list of everything in my library. There must be a faster way.

Also, I am hoping to be able to have several versions included in the same list where each verse would have perhaps the English, Hebrew, LXX, Syriac, and Latin rather than creating separate lists for each language. I have a program that can do that, but it is an old program and why should I have to open another program? Surely Logos can do everything, right?

Larry, let me try to give a little more detail.

I see you've figured out how to get the passage list. Once there, the little box (arrow, below) at the top is your friend (sort of). If you want to see multiple versions when it gets to Word, you need to select them here.

Selecting them is easy...use the abbreviations for the versions you want, separated by a comma, with NO spaces.

Here's the hard part. You can't just hit enter. (This has been a bug for a while, and FL knows about it.) You have to click the little arrow in the box, and usually, you have to click it a couple or three times (where the x is below, lower arrow).

Now (assuming you got the arrow to work), you'll see multiple columns, one for each version you put in the box.

To print, use the Print/Export tool in the panel menu (I think you've found this). When the P/E window opens, make sure "Print as shown on screen" is selected, then send it to MS word.

You should get a Word doc that looks like what you had in Logos.

BTW, if you check "Print as minimized list", you get a list of verses with no text.

I was able to find out how to display the passages and apparently with the other languages as well. When it appears on the computer screen, the additional language version are beneath each other. When I try to copy it to a clipboard, the verses are arranged side by side, meaning that if I wanted to add another language, the page would probably shift to landscape orientation to include it. This could make it difficult, at least for me, to paste this information into another document. I think I may have to use my old program or do a lot of copying and pasting to get the results I want. Thank you for taking the time to work with me on this. I really appreciate it.
