Page-to-page scrolling options

It seems to me that, at some point in the evolution in the Logos program, there was an option to choose when scrolling from page to page, whether the new page would start with the last three lines from the previous page, or the new page start where the previous page left off. Is that option no longer available? If it is still available, where do I find it? I don't see anything in the Program Settings tool that would allow that option to be set.

I have never known that to be an option.

For clarification though: "scrolling" always means up and down. You are doing "swiping" or "page turning."

Yes, what I am talking about is "scrolling" up and down, page by page (or screen by screen, if you prefer), using the "scroll bar" on the right side of the panel with the arrows at either end of it. Clicking the scroll bar at some point between the arrows will move one page (or screen) at a time either up or down. Perhaps I am confusing Logos with another reader, but it seems to me that, once upon a time, it was possible to choose, while scrolling, between displaying the last three lines of the previous page (screen), allowing for smoother and quicker reading of longer sections, or not showing any of the previous page (screen), allowing for fewer mouse clicks while reading, an advantage especially for those who had smaller monitors (displays).

Since I go way back with Logos (version 1) that may be an option that was long ago abandoned. Or, as I said, I may be confusing Logos with another reader.

Try setting "columns" to "none" in the resource

click the panel icon at the top left of the resource to get this. Does this give you what you want - or close enoug?

Based upon his description, that isn't the issue... There isn't any scroll bar in "paged" view, but only side arrows:

If he has a scroll bar, he already has columns "set to none." Right? In my two screenshots above, I have columns set to 1 & none. The 1 column view does not have a scroll bar, but has the page turn buttons.

I simply felt that there was enough uncertainty, at least in my mind, in the original request to make the suggestion.

Thanks, Graham and alabama for the suggestions. I cannot get to my desktop computer right now to check settings. I know that I am not using "paged" view. I don't have forward and back buttons, but up and down scroll bar. Sorry if my use of "page" caused confusion. I don't know what my column setting is. I did not evven know until today that that was an option, so, if there is a "default" setting, that's what it is set at.

Aparently, if the setting I am referencing ever existed in Logos, it was abandoned sometime before version 6. The setting I am remembering was very straight forward. It would have been found with the settings such as paragraph display style, default font, font size, etc. It is not now there, so, it must not be available.

"Scroll view" = "columns set to none." Your description confirms that you are using this mode.
