I see there is a search field listed in the Logos Help called "chufat" How can I search this field. I have tried several different strings but can't see how this works.
It doesn't come from the Early Church Fathers, Apostolic Fathers nor Catena Aurea; there is no such search field listed under "All Text" in a Basic Search of All Resources. If it existed, you should see "Church Fathers" listed and you would get results from a search like chufat:the; where "the" s a common word.
Neither chufat nor Church Fathers show up in the list of search fields in the Find window:
I wonder if it is specific to a certain set of publications that we don't have, like the Fathers of the Church series:

I don't know about Dave, but I understood that. All of the search fields available for your library will be shown in the search fields section of the menu I showed (as long as you have "All Resources" selected as well).

For example, (in addition to chufat) bull, chufat, clrfywrds, code-example, colon (and more) don't work for me. But that mainly means that I don't own resources that contain those search fields---but someone else might.

I found Clarifying Words in Amplified Bible; which are words in brackets [..]. So you could search for clrfywrds:Hittites if that was useful.
It would be really cool to have some way of searching the Church Fathers for topics, I can do it (sort of) by collections.....
Turns out I don't own the Amplified Bible, which explains the lack of support for Clarifying Words.
not particularly helpful but chufat is a valid search field in a media search, e.g., chufat:Augustine

Thanks. That's helpful. I had the Media Collections and Online Results sections collapsed and didn't see those. I was just looking at Library Results.
That list is not guaranteed to be complete unfortunately but it is as comprehensive as we have.

I get results in the NA27 Apparatus.
I get also in USB4 apparatus
Note that you aren't receiving any results from "Your Books", only Media Collections and Online (which are both server-based). I haven't checked, but I suspect what is happening is that the field name is being ignored. You would get the same results for just "Augustine" or "ijustmadethisup:Augustine".
