If these could be made available in Logos as a free add-on or with this collection that would be most helpful!
Thanks for the interest, Mattillo! I will post here if/when there is news of such an addition by Logos . . .

I'm also interested in this series. I put in my order. Every little bit helps. I have had to wait for over a year before for Logos to release a pre pub. We shall see. I hope they do release this before Christmas but they are not in any hurry to get new books out there. Maybe the Lord will come back before that happens and then we we shall find out the answers to all the questions we have from the Master Himself. :-)

Hello Rick:
Yes, VERY true. I'm waiting as well and cannot wait to get them! Frankly, I'm surprised they haven't hit publication yet!

If you want a feel for his work you can purchase old testament and new testament survey and the volumes he wrote for the everyman's Bible commentaries from Moody. Extremely practical! 👍

I am hoping they get published soon as well.

I just spoke with Faithlife and learned they're waiting for just a "few dozen" more orders on the Jensen Collection before going into production. On the single title of that collection, Independent Bible Study, they need just a "handful" more orders -- "very close" . . .

Does anyone know how many more pre-pubs orders we need to get Jensen into production?

Hi, Joe! I just spoke with Faithlife on Oct. 3 about my Dad's collection, and they told me they are just waiting for a "few dozen" more orders . . . The single title, Independent Bible Study, is "very close" to being ready for production. Thanks for asking!

Nice answer from Logos; they might as well just asked us how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop 🙄 "A few dozens!" Really?
"A group of engineering students from Purdue University reported that its licking machine, modeled after a human tongue, took an average of 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Twenty of the group's volunteers assumed the licking challenge-unassisted by machinery-and averaged 252 licks each to the center." ---- Google

Sure would like this to be one of my Christmas presents. Could I get some help pushing it over the line?

I'd settle for at least seeing it in production.

Douglas, thanks for posting this site -- new to me! And they even have a store fairly close to me . . .
Yes, I agree with Dal -- would like to just see it hit production stage before Christmas . . .
I will have more news on our first product launch (Cynthia's and mine) in a week or so. Am revising the website as well . . .
Hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Before Kay Arthur, there was Irving Jensen. He didn't have all the different markings but he showed us how to break a book down, overview, chapter, passage. I cut my teeth on his inductive approach. That learning helped me get through seminary at 50! I would enjoy having them electronically and it would benefit my teaching in Sunday school and small groups.
Karen Jensen Collins indicates that we are almost there! "a few dozen more'. We have great theological books in Logos, we need more tools in how they can glean those truths from the Bible for themselves. I am seeing a dumbing down in the church, we are even having to tell them what page number in the Bible to turn to. Maybe because they need a more hands on approach to study, rather than filling in the blanks.
Jensen challenged me to think, to really look at the passage and he did it by modeling how it can be done. Let's get these guides into production. Thanks for reading, go hit the button.

Need just a few more to opt in.

One reason could be it's price - for me it's expensive.

Hello Fasil,
I'm surprised to hear that but I do understand it's all relative. There are a TON of books in there, and one of the books in the collection alone goes for almost 20.00 used on Amazon. (I know because I bought two.) I guess because I know how much I spent collecting them in print, I think it's a really good price. Also, I think the extra value is that they are not in print anymore so that added value for me as well.
Hopefully it will come into your price range or come on sale after launch. They really are fantastic.
Blessings,
Cynthia

The Pre-Pub price is only a few dollars less than the stated regular price. I will order them after they are published at the list price in a few months, then I can put them on a payment plan if I want to. I am trying to reduce my balances to zero and will in the next 8 months.
I look forward to getting them.

I wouldn't call 26 dollars "only a few dollars" myself, I consider that to be a significant saving

I was thinking in terms of what I have already purchased in Logos products, it is not significant. You are right, it is a good percentage off of regular price, and I was not meaning to slight FaithLife for not giving a good discount.

My suggestion would be, turn to the competition (WS) and then see who manages to publish them first 😁 At this point, if the competition had them first I wouldn't mind getting it from them.

They have lots of sermon outlines on sale now. Pulpit Pages which is stuck in prepub limbo is there (WS) and has more content than the Logos edition.

I teach 3 to 4 times a week. Mostly Bible studies. I am constantly looking for good questions, the inductive type. I am also looking for good visuals to explain the layout of a book.
This series meets both of those needs. I would like to see it in Logos. We are soooo close in getting it published.
Please help by ordering the series, you won't regret it!

Almost there! Come on, just a few more pre-orders 👍
You know, it kind sucks that the Independent Bible Study has been in production but is not out yet. It would really help people make a decision if they saw the quality of work Mr. Irving offers. 👍

In my Open Pre-pub section it is still saying Gathering Interest. Maybe someone hasn't flipped a switch behind the scenes to get it moving toward production. I would love to see this go into production.

Wow, same here. I hope is not another miscalculation on the price issue; that would really suck!

Hey, Dal, David, Joe & all . . . I just today noticed the same! "UNDER DEVELOPMENT" for the big Collection (as well as the single Independent Bible Study book, which has been in that stage now for several months). So THANK YOU for pushing it through with your orders and endorsements!!
I phoned Faithlife today to get an update on them both from my contact, Bethany. She's out until 3.28 and no one else was able to take my call about these titles. So I will post next week when I have more info.
Woohoo!

Delighted to see this batch of his work has gone into development! I still treasure my kinda raggedy copy of his "Independent Bible Study" and look forward to having this set when Logos gets it out of development and released. I thoroughly enjoy having his Old and New Testaments surveys in Logos already too!
Godspeed you along the way, Karen!

Just received the news from Faithlife: ALL TITLES in the Jensen Collection are IN PRODUCTION . . . She expects an early summer release! Praise and glory to God for what He's doing and will do through these inductive Bible study resources . . . And thanks to all of you for helping push it over the hurdle!

Thanks Alabama! Very helpful, as usual! Anthony's post was over 2 years old, so I don't feel so bad about my eyes not falling on it. [:)]
