Josephus

so, I am reading Strobel's book Case for Christ and run across this quote:

He convened a meeting of the Sanhedrin and brought before them a man named James, the brother of Jesus, who was called the Christ, and certain others. He accused them of having transgressed the law and delivered them up to be stoned.

I have several copies of Josephus, and eventually found that quote, although, my translation of Josephus has it differently.

So, here is what I want to know. Is there a way to search for other books that quote that section of Josephus? Searching for words doesn't work because they may be quoting a different translation of Josephus.

Also, is there any way to know what translation of Josephus Strobel is quoting?

Is this a footnote? I meant a bibliography at the back of the book or end of chapter.

You can perform the same as the cited by tool by searching for <Antiquities of the Jews 20.200> in Basic Search mode.

But, I found your quote by googling it. It is from the Loeb edition of Josephus.

In theory, going back to the original question, if you found the approximate quote, using the left-right keys would move you across the Josephus volumes (I have 3 I think). But my parallel arrowing sent me to Pseudo-Philo (Charlesworth). And somehow Ezekiel in Eusebius. Choosing new refernces (non-transparent index) didn't improve matters.

I switched over to Libby, where I can see the indices, and it quickly matched up correctly, to also include the apparatus. But I've moved on; not my issue (using parallels in L4-7).

I wonder if Loeb would be a good Logos resource.
