Links listed in a search take me to the wrong verse

os ap, After performing a search, there is a list of links (verses). But following those links, I end up about one chapter farther in the text than I should be. Today I discovered a similar problem trying to listen to the audio bible ESV. The text being read is about one chapter behind whatever I select, and the text displayed on screen.  I've been putting up with this for a while. Would love a fix or advice.

Hi Chip - and welcome to the forums

We need a bit more information to get to the bottom of this.

Which mobile app are you using and on which platform? Which version of the app?

As you can see from my screenshots below - iOS app on my iPad - I don't see the problem

    I run the search

click the link to 1 John 4 and it goes to the right place

My guess is that you have resources downloaded to your device and they might not match exactly what is on Logos servers (where the search is being run).

Do you know how to check if resources are downloaded? If so, and if the resource you are searching in is downloaded, try removing it and see if the problem persists.

    Welcome! [:)]

I concur with Graham that the most likely culprit is a mis-matched downloaded resource. I would check that first. Let us know what the status is on that.

    What does this mean?

iOS. I use multiple faithlife apps on iPhone and iPad. Multiple meaning Logos, Vyrso, Verbum, Noet, and Faith life study bible. Love the flexibility of having different resources open in each app.  Problem fixed by removing downloaded resource and downloading it again. Great call.  Thanks for the wonderful help!

Logos version 5.13.10053 Don't these automatically update as a new version is released?

Theoretically... but theory and practice arent always the same. When a user tells us that they are using "the most current version," all that tells us is that they THINK they are using the most current version! [:)]

I re-read your post. I originally thought you were asking about software updates... resource updates do not automatically update on mobile as they do on desktop... <Most> of the time, if updates to resources are available, a notification will appear... but not always. [:s]
