Hi All,

This month, we’re adding two extra perks to the regular benefits of a Logos Now membership.

For May, Logos Now members get free access to Faithlife TV Plus and a coupon for $50 off a purchase of $100 or more.

We want you to know that we appreciate you and want to make sure you are more than satisfied with Logos Now.

Your access to Faithlife TV Plus should already be active. Keep your eye out for an email with details on the discount. Smile

    Thank you, Ben!

Can you clarify/expand a little on the $50 off a purchase of $100 or more?  E.g. does it apply to any/all products?

a coupon for $50 off a purchase of $100 or more

We have to spend at least another $50 or more with you. To me this is not a real perk but another marketing / sales ploy.

At least you're recognizing the fact that Logos Now has been delivering diminishing value to subscribers in the last few quarters (fewer and fewer usable new features for Now users).

It is time to seriously question what value we're getting out of LN as subscribers (other than the new development on the web app, which is not needed by everyone).

If all that matters is early access, then the value has diminished, compared to early L7 features.

I've never questioned the value of LN since I've saved far more with LN discounts, than the cost of the membership itself.

Regardless of their motivation, FL is giving LN members a whole month's free access to any Mobile Ed course videos. Surely we could find a course or two to watch that makes our membership more valuable, yes?

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Ah, great stuff! I wasn't terribly excited about the preview book offering this month, so just assumed it would be a dry month for me. The voucher has already been put to use, and I've just recently been given an Apple TV, so it'll be fun to try out Faithlife TV on a bigger screen.

Ben, I think there's a glitch somewhere with the offer. The code provided by email is showing as working with any amount in my basket, eg $45 of books in the basket, $0 cost total, rather than having a $100 minimum. Holding off on my purchases until you can confirm. Thanks!

So I could add a year of Logos now to my cart for 99.99, a 99 cent book to get it over the $100 limit, apply the coupon, and basically get a year of logos now for $50? Right now I pay monthly so this would make it $4.17 a month for LN :)

You should receive the email soon (or customer service will reach out to you). Relatedly, can you double check your email preferences? It looks like our email system wouldn't allow us to send to your address. This could have just been a glitch on our end, but it could also be that your email preferences are such that they don't allow us to send you emails.

In answer to your first question, it applies to all products.

    Thanks!

I used to be a logos now member but dropped it when it went annually. I do subscribe to faithlife TV though. But it seems logos now would be a better choice if it comes with LN. If I were to drop FLTV and jump into LN would the coupon work for me as well?

I think this is different from the Mobile Ed video AND Faithlife TV+ preview weekend we enjoyed in January.  The free FaithlifeTV+ for May only includes the Mobile Ed videos you already own and not others.  We do get to see Faithlife documentaries and lots of other video media with this May extra.  I believe a month of Faithlife TV+ is $5 for an individual to subscribe.

    Thanks for that correction!

So churches can subscribe to Mobile Ed videos, but individuals can't? (Simply confused. I prefer the complete courses with their readings.)

Individuals may subscribe to Mobile Ed videos, for $49.99/mo.  See https://www.logos.com/product/56677/mobile-ed-subscription , also https://faithlifetv.com/compare to compare available subscriptions, and https://community.logos.com/forums/t/123554.aspx for discussion of the individual Mobile Ed video subscription.

TIP: If you're trying to use the $50 coupon code for Logos Now users, it does check that the Regular Price (not Discounted Price) of your items add up to $100 or more.

If you're having a hard time getting that total to $100, look for the Semeia journals. At Regular Price of $22.99 per issue but discounted to $0.37 per issue, they are a good bargain and seem to have good content in each themed issue, and they help get your Regular Price total up to $100 faster.

Hi, Ben!  Apparently no coupon of any kind can be applied to pre-pub products.  I could not see a way to include a pre-pub product in the purchase I was putting together so I called sales and was told it can't be done.  Perhaps that's old news to most, but I wasn't aware of it.  Thought I'd point in out in case others don't know.

And on what are you basis are you making this claim Peta, Faithlife TV plus is not the same thing as full acess to all mobile Ed course videos. Fairhlife TV  is the platform on which such a subscription is delivered, but it is not the same thing.

Faithlife TV plus simply gives you acess to a variety of audio visual content such as but not limited to documentaries, bible studies, children's programs, music etc.

  • Simon’s Brother
    Simon’s Brother Member Posts: 6,833 ✭✭✭

In terms of mobile Ed Faithlife TV plus only allows you to view the courses that you have purchased. It doesn't allow you to view all mobile Ed courses as someone has erroneously suggested - they were wrong in making that assumption. Access to all mobile Ed courses is through a church subscription, it is not available to individuals. Faithlife TV plus gives you access to additional audio and visual content such as documentaries, movies, children's programs etc.

I can get into faithlifetv, but how do you access faithlifetv plus? I can only see my purchased courses.

Clearly there is some inconsistencies in what is being ensured to whom. My subscription was up for renewal this month, I suspect a lot of members would anniversary their membership around now, as this was the time of year the program was introduced and so it is very timely for FL to say to these members, hey we haven't forgotten you, a shame they can't get the one message out to all users.

    Hi Ben,

Is the FLTV access same or related to the FLTV+MobileEd videos access?

I tried to sign up for the latter (14-day free trial), but I got thrown into FL group page of my church's group and do not know how to move forward. Can you point me to how to start watching the MobileEd videos for the next 14 days?

    thanks,

I'm very grateful for the voucher, thank you Logos. I was able to pick up the PNTC on 2 Corinthians, a Luther reader, and an Anabaptist reader for a total of £31! The PNTC was about £38 on its own.

    Thanks again, Liam

Peter free access to mobile Ed courses is not included as part of a FL TV plus subscription and so is not a part of this months offer to Logos Now members. Unfortunately somebody earlier made a statement that it was included because they did not check their assumption before posting on this forum that it was included.

if in doubt go back to the original email. It makes no mention of moblie Ed access and there in lies your answer. Of course you can access mobile Ed courses you have a License for altready.

I never received any codes. I am not upset about it:

    1.  I am not going  to renew LN

    2. I am not going to buy anything in the near future

that makes $150 savings at least for now. Thank you Faithlife!

Ben, just as an FYI, I never did receive the email for this perk.  No harm done as I used the code you provided, but I would like to know what's going on as this is not the first time others have received emails of interest/value to me that I did not receive.  Is there a specific option I should check in my profile?  As I noted before, I get lots and lots of sales and marketing emails so I'm curious as to why I never received the email for this LN perk.
