Logos word lists - what is the source of the gloss and is it possible to change it?

Hi there, I'm using Logos 5 but perhaps this question pertains to other versions as well.

The question is the one in the post title: when creating Word Lists, what is the source of the "gloss" column and is it possible to change it? I am trying to use word lists to create flash cards, but find myself quite often needing to change the gloss provided, because it simply doesn't give the sense of the word as used in the NT. I could offer dozens of examples of this, but it's not important; I am curious about the source of the gloss and how I might change it.

Did you realize you can download the Logos 7 engine for FREE and it will run all the resources you have in your L5 library? Here is the Link to download, then when you login just make sure you use your same login credentials from your L5 library. https://www.logos.com/basic

I believe (I may be wrong) that someone once posted that the gloss comes from your highest prioritize Lexicon.

I believe the glosses come from an internal database so not something we can change

I am curious about the source of the gloss and how I might change it.

They come from internal lemma datasets and you cannot change anything! Glosses for the Greek NT's don't seem to vary, but the glosses for the Hebrew OT depend on the bible/morphology used e.g. "one" where there are homographs vs. "another; one; first" without homographs.

Thank you all so much for the replies. If as it seems it's not possible to change the gloss source, that is indeed unfortunate. To use the feature as I need it then requires a lot of additional work. (Another weakness of the feature IMO is the lack of full lexical form on nouns and adjectives -- that too should be changed).

Thanks so much all for the replies. If it's true that the source of the gloss cannot be changed that is unfortunate, as this severely limits the usefulness of this feature for me. (Another limitation - more easily overcome, I would think - is that the Lemma and Card Front do not list the full lexical form for adjectives and nouns). Hopefully this feature could be improved in the future.
