Reading Koine Greek

Firstly, can anyone recommend this as a good resource for learning NT Greek? I have been waiting for the Mobile Ed course on Greek, but I have some free time over the summer to invest in Greek Studies, and I am looking for a good introductory resource.

Secondly, is it worth having on Logos? Especially seeing as there is a kindle version available for more than half the price, and hard copies available for only slightly more than that. There is definitely a premium on the price of the Logos product (~£20). Basically, is it worth it?

I have never used this Greek grammar before.

I would go with David Allen Black's Greek grammar. It is more then half the cost of what you are looking at and is a quality resource.

It will get you up and running for the John Schwan course when it comes around.

Am currently taking Greek 1 through Knox Theological Seminary and we are using exclusively William Mounces book "The Basics of Biblical Greek" which also has a grammer. I love this book and it is all very clearly laid out. Another resource that helps you use Logos in handling NT Greek is "Greek for the rest of us." These can be had in either Logos or through an online bookstore like Amazon. I personally use both. I have looked through other resources that I have had on my shelf and Mounce's appears to me to be the best one to help you get a handle on it. Also, along with the book I mentioned first Mounce also has a corresponding video series that goes hand in hand with the book called, of course, "Basics of Biblical Greek."

If you go to Mounc's sight at TekniaGreek.com he'll have more helpful information for you. The course I'm taking is tough because there is just so much to learn, but if you're doing it at your own pace, using the books and the dvd's you'll do fine. I don't believe you can get much better than that. And if you wish to advance further get "Greek Grammar beyond the basics" by Wallace.
