Looking for anyone who has installed the Public Beta. How is it working in general and how is it working with Logos 7? Did you format to APFS?

Take a look at Mac OS High Sierra
Jack,
Good to see you posting. Have not seen much of you on the forums. Hope you are well.
Been very busy. Sold our home and moved about 25 miles north—get to pay twice as much property tax now [:'(]. One friend said that there is not a surface in this house that we have not changed—that is almost true We liked the tile in the two bathrooms and left them as it, but we have changed everything else [:P]
BTW I need to send you a message to let you know how my sister-in-law's case turned out Thanks for your assistance.
If you install the Public Beta on your Mac's internal hard drive it will reformat the file system to APFS, however, if you install it on a bootable external hard drive it will leave the format as HFS+. My advice to anyone wishing to test High Sierra is NOT to install it on your primary working Mac. I'm using a bootable external hard drive for testing as I do need our primary Mac for sermons and Bible study lessons. [:P]
So far the public beta seems very stable but since I'm not using APFS I can't comment on things like utilities and other low level applications. However, my iPhone and iPad Pro are both using the APFS file system and seem to be working OK.
In Christ,
Charles
Installed the Beta on release day and am running Logos Beta on it -- apart from the Tab label issue – all is well.
Still don't do either thing unless you are ready for either Apple or Logos (or both) to release the next iteration that wrecks the whole thing.
Going back can be almost impossible.
