undo button
Does Logos have a feature like in Word or Excel where you can undo something you just did? I think Word keeps a list of about 20 of the last things you did, and you can undo them all. I don't know if you can pick out one and undo that particular one, but more than once I closed something or hit a wrong key and something disappeared.
Comments
- (Select text and) right-click for context menu
- Wait for menu to populate (as "open annotation" will jump to a different place once other menu items are added)
- Select open annotation
- Select note drop-down
- Select delete note
We just recently added the ability to reopen a closed panel. It's available from the panel tab's right-click context menu, or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+T.
The History tool should also help with this.
Are there other kinds of actions you'd like to be able to undo?

Thanks, Phil. I'm not seeing that option. Is that a beta feature or in the standard release?

Looks like it was introduced in 7.8 beta 3 as per https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_7.8_Beta_3
We'll explore other ways to undo common actions.
Hoping we can have an undo for highlighting in the new notes system. Due to "Remove annotation" issues, it's time-consuming to undo a single highlight:
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!
In case people don't realize this, there is already some limited support for Undo and Redo. This is supported at a panel level (not application level) for various panels, including Notes. What this means is that if you open a Notes document and add, edit, or delete an entry, you can Undo / Redo the changes using the panel menu or the keyboard shortcut.
This works for undoing the adding of a note using the right click menu (select the tab for the Notes document before using undo) because that operation actually opens the Notes document in order to create the note.
Unfortunately (as people are aware), this doesn't work for Remove Annotations from the right click menu or Erase from the Highlighting panel, or applying highlighting using the Highlighting panel. That's because those operations don't actually open the Notes document in order to apply the change.

I have accidentally deleted all text, quickly pressed cmd/cntl Z and when it didn't work, I
- started a second computer that has Logos on it with the network turned off,
- copied and pasted into another application, started the network, that new note in another app is saved,
-then went into the problematic first computer, copied and pasted text back into the note within Logos
