Wow! I agree. If they both have the same content, with the only difference being the cover page and slight title change, one does need to be pulled. Confused by the ISBN and the title.
Sometimes this is done intentionally by either the author or the publisher (when another publisher has the right to sell). I spotted one in Spanish by Tim Keller titled: La Razón de Dios (The Reason for God) and then Vyrso has the same book with a slightly different title: Es razonable creer en Dios (Is it reasonable to believe in God? -- which is the equivalent for The Reason for God). Same content, but different title.
I guess everybody wants to have a slice of the pie when it comes to selling books.

I don't know why, in this case, Vyrso has two different editions of the same book but, as DAL notes, sometimes there are reasons.
Logos' current free book of the month, by John Stott, is one that I already owned albeit with a different cover. Logos won't let me purchase the currently free one despite it being different. This makes me think that, in this case, it's not a matter of a new edition, a reprint with a different cover or a new publisher, but about international rights and editions (I'm in Scotland).
When I opened this thread I expected it to be about the Pentecostal non-Trinitarian "Jesus Only" movement :-)
In this case both of these are published by Moody and they have clearly not embraced oneness by having two different versions of the same book.

There is no reason to think that it is a different version. Sometimes a publisher will update the packaging (title, cover, blurbs) and this causes the ISBN to be changed. The copyright is 2011 for both resources.
