I would love to have more works of the Dr available through Logos... His Exposition of Romans seems a good place to start...!

    Gets my vote!

I'll cast of vote of YES also.

Easy there Ted, giving him the title of puritan might make folks think he's ancient [;)]  I'm enjoying Dr. Lloyd-Jones in the titles that are aleady there, but would love to see more. Especially "David Martyn Lloyd-Jones: The First Forty Years, 1899-1939 v. 1 by Iain H. Murray " I was only able to get volume 2 "The Fight of Faith 1939-1981" a couple of years ago.

I take your point. What a great expositor he was and his theology is as ancient as Paul the Apostle[:D].

Amen and Amen!  More of the Doctor!  In fact, we need his "Life Works"!

Last of the Puritans?  Ted, I would rather say - considering his theology of the Holy Spirit - that Martyn Lloyd-Jones was the last of the Calvinist-Methodists (of the George Whitefield variety).

However you label him, he is great!  He was the greatest preacher of the 20th Century - bar none.

His "Studies in the Sermon on the Mount" changed my life some 35 years ago.

As with you Michael, "Studies in the Sermon on the Mount" was life changing for me (as a new christian) some 30 years ago and, in recent months, has been instrumental in calling me back, as it were, to "my first love".

I'm new to Logos. It's awesome!! I absolutely LOVE it, but I am rather disappointed Lloyd-Jones' work is not better represented.

I agree with Andy and willis2011, "Studies in the Sermon on the Mount" and "Romans" would be great places to start but, as David says, his complete works really should be a great priority. How could the interest not be huge....??

Love the avatar Ted...my favorite as well....

Well after a 10 year wait- I am purchasing the paper books of Romans (14 vols.)- not ideal, but need the material.

This is disappointing especially when I see some of the well- stuff hitting perpub, that is not worth the time to even read the summary on.

How do we get Logos to look into this? Does Logos read these posts?

I would like to know if there is any progress, or if there has even been an attempt to get all of his works.

"Sermon on the Mount" is Eerdmans, and Logos publishes so many titles from Eerdmans.

Is this a problem with receiving permission from MLJ Trust?

I really would like to read the context around it. I have SD somewhere on my print shelves or in one of the boxes I have still not unpacked from my last move, but I can't find it right now. Oh to have it in Logos!

I agree with all that say D.M. Jones should be in logos program. Many years ago after I left the ministry, wondering where God was at in all that we do.  I started reading the Dr. books on, "The Sermon on the Mt, and God really used them in my life. Regardless of what was going on all around me here is the Christian life spelled out in the Sermon On the Mt., I am now 75 years young.

I must agree with John McCarther who Logos stated he said that LLoyd-Jones was probably the greatest of all expositors. On some of his own books he is called the Prince of Expositors. This point alone makes his works well worth posting, any and all of his works!

Amen, Ted!  Of course, you mean more of that great self-described last of the "Calvinist Methodists!"  [;)]

Call him what we will, (and he would approve being called a puritan,) he was magnificent as a an expositor of Scripture!  I have what Logos offers, but need much more of the Doctor!

I would especially like his "Studies on the Sermon on the Mount".  That book changed my life some 38 years ago.

Yes - Studies in the Sermon on the Mount and his sermon series on Romans are a MUST have... but then again why not his complete works? We've already got his expositions on Ephesians and Acts and his Great Bible Doctrines - so clearly Logos must have contacts with MLJ trust and publishers.

Come on Logos - let's push for this.
