Looking forward to having this in my library.
Me too!
I have never used this resource before. What would set it apart from Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary or Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary? I'm trying to decide if the value would enhance or compliment what I already have.
At this point I don't know for sure but once it is in our libraries we should be able to answer these questions.
I’m not sure either but this series is focused on cultural backgrounds on specific topics. From reading little excerpts it seems to be a little more in depth than Anchor and Holman in the area of taking a subject in Scripture and explaining the background

This one is more heavy duty. I actually recommended the other, but then swapped horses.
This round of prepubs shipping also includes the NIV Background SB, and one I think ACCS owners might like ... it goes through theology subject per the early fathers. I'm tempted on the latter.
