New scholarly Greek NT, alternative to NA28
A new scholarly Greek New Testament, complied by top academics in Cambridge (UK) is soon to be published by Crossway. It promises to draw on more recent research (e.g. on scribal habits) than NA28 has taken into account. Crossway have also been promising to make the digital text freely available.
- Has Logos already got a prepub for this that I have failed to locate?
- If not, please could it be brought to Logos

I would certainly like to have this text in Logos. It seems like an interesting project, but will likely not gain the wide support that the NA text has At this time.

There was an article about it today on the Logos Academic blog https://academic.logos.com/interview-williams-and-jongkind-on-the-tyndale-house-greek-new-testament-thgnt/ so they're certainly aware of it. No mention there of whether it will be available for free in Logos though.

I would have to be convinced there is a real need for another GNT- not yet done so by site or Logos info.

I wonder if the Logos Edition will retain the use of ekthesis in its paragraph formatting. This is one of several distinctive features of the THGNT.

Good news! It looks like they already changed its status to "Under Development". It was actually moving along pretty well given the fact that it's not actually listed under (Newest?) Popular New Pre-Orders or Pre-Publication Products. I only became aware of it after Mike Aubrey shared the link.

There is a free version online tied to the ESV, I don't think it is very discoverable. Here is the link:

Yeah, I’ve been around long enough to see that explanation a few time. To be honest, I’m fine with the price. I just assumed from previous discussions on the forum about the resource, along with the FAQ, that it would be less expensive.
If anything, it gives us insight into how much value Logos places on tagging their resources.
