Sermon Editor: How do you move a block to a new location within the sermon? (WIN 7.11 Beta 3; 7.11.0

Member Posts: 1,546 ✭✭✭

While refining a sermon, I sometimes want to move a block to a different location within the sermon.  I tried drag and drop as well as cut and paste, but neither worked.

How can I move a block to a new location within the sermon (without having to delete it and recreate it in the new location)?  Drag and drop would be nice; cut and paste would be okay.

Although I can cut and past paragraphs to a new location, the ability to drag and drop them (and blocks) would be fewer clicks/keystrokes and easier/faster to use.

Drag and drop isn't supported - but cut and paste should work. I think the fact it doesn't currently is probably relate to the copy / paste issues you reference in your other thread.

    Hi Graham.

Thank you for the info.  I wonder if it has something to do with the recent Windows 10 "Fall Creators Update"?  I've had a few things work "differently" since the update a few weeks ago.  I just started re-using Sermon Editor since the Windows update, so I don't know if this is a new behavior or if it's been like this for a while.

As per my reply in your other thread I think this behaviour was introduced in the current beta
