I need help finding First Apocalypse of James

What's the best way to locate First Apocalypse of James?
If I pull up my resources and search for "First Apocalypse of James" can't find it. IF I do a regular search using all I find is references about it and not the manuscript/text.
This link https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=First+Apocalypse+of+James shows it to be in the Early Church Fathers Protestant Edition which is greyed out indicating that own it.
If I follow the link to here https://www.logos.com/product/5771/early-church-fathers-protestant-edition it again indicates I own the Early Church Fathers (which is correct) and I can see the resources in my library.
But I still can't find the First Apocalypse of James
What am I doing wrong? Or what am I misunderstanding about this? Do I have it or not?
How can I go about finding and reading the text of First Apocalypse of James?
Thanks for helping with my little problem. I'm probably just doing something stupid but I can't figure it out.

Marshall,
I see this in the Nag Hammadi Texts: https://ref.ly/logosres/naghamm?ref=NagHammadiCodices.NHC+V+3 (actually found it by clicking on the reference in the LBD Article). Maybe it's also contained in OTP, but I don't own that resource. I don't think your search proves that is is containe in ECF (the search hits for all resources where any of the words First, Apocalypse, Of and/or James come up anywhere).
Hope this helps somewhat.

Thanks.
I see it in the Nag Hammadi Library in English but I was hoping to find it in stuff I already have.
I assumed that the search returning the Early Church Fathers meant that it had the text and not just references to it. I guess I was wrong.
Trying to decide if its work purchasing.
Thanks for the help guys.

Hi Marshall.
Your search was for where any of the words "First" or "Apocalypse" or "of" or "James" occurred. To search for the phrase/whole string, you'd want to put it in quotes: https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=%22First+Apocalypse+of+James%22
As has been pointed out, the work (extant in Coptic) was first published in the Nag Hammadi documents. The newly announced Greek fragments have not been published yet, to my knowledge.
If you'd like to just read the material in English, try here: http://gnosis.org/naghamm/1ja.html
Hope it helps,

Unfortunately, unless you're really into pain, or just interested in gnostic, Robinson's english text can really put you to sleep (but is good, including a discussion of each text and a translation).
But the real interesting volume is by Craig Evans, et al:
https://www.logos.com/product/7137/nag-hammadi-texts-and-the-bible-a-synopsis-and-index
It's more expensive, and uses Robinson's. But if you put it in a Logos CitedBy tool and link it to your Bible, it really sorts out nicely, It operates on matching or very similar wording in the both NH and the Bible.
For example, if you ever struggled with Luke's 'redemption' (Luk 21.28), it gets used in Apoc of James. Really quite interesting.

Thanks Rick,
I have now read it at the link you provided along with some of the historical and biographical stuff surrounding the discovery of the Nag Hammadi. The First Apocalypse of James sounded like a lot of gibberish to me but in all fairness I sometimes get the felling that Isaiah was smoking something when he wrote his book.
Still trying to decide if the Nag Hammadi is worth getting. I understand that the Gnostic texts were considered heresy and were condemned by the early early church fathers. I can understand reading them and being familiar with them so that I'll better understand why Irenaeus and others opposed them. But I often worry that something I read in them may subconsciously influence my thoughts. Kind of like the old "if you play with fire you will get burnt" warnings our mothers gave us.

Thanks Denise.
That's a little over my budget at the moment. I spent too much on all the Black Friday deals. Maybe the Nag Hammadi will come up as a free Now book someday.
