Logos 8

I don't read all the posts of course, so forgive me if this has been asked and answered recently. My query is, when is Logos 8 to make its entrance onto the world stage?

There is no definite date set but based on previous cycles it is about two years between versions

Which would mean what year, roughly?

L7 was released in the fall of 2016.

User speculation for upcoming Logos releases (using 6 week development cycle):
- 7.13 => 19 Feb 2018
- 7.14 => 2 Apr 2018
- 7.15 => 14 May 2018
- 7.16 => 25 Jun 2018
- 7.17 => 8 Aug 2018
- 7.18 => 17 Sep 2018
- 7.19 => 29 Oct 2018
- 7.20 => 10 Dec 2018
Logos 7.0 was released on 22 Aug 2016 so guessing 7.17 or higher could become 8.0

Here's another question related to logos 8.
Is there a pattern with how often the base libraries get reworked? I seems to me that there have been times when Logos has gotten a major update to the software without the particular resources in the libraries changing much at all.
Am I wrong? if this is the case should we expect a reworking of the libraries in logos 8?
I'm hoping the answer is yes...

Most times - as far as I remember - libraries are reworked to varying degrees.
But past behaviour doesn’t guarantee future ones!

Like the early church, confusion occurs often when 'the end' (of v7) is predicted, but two possible end-dating schemes exist.
In the the NT, you had your oh-my-goodness datings (weather, earthquakes, no stars etc), and who-dies-last datings (the argument about John vs Peter, etc).
Now, for Logos, although time datings are most often discussed (July?, August?, Nov??), forum insiders know to watch the REAL predictor.
Of course, that would be missing MVPs, along with MVP assurances of 'who knows the time?' (nothing about sleeping with your clothes on, an issue in the early church).
Added:
I thought it only fair to add an additional insider 'sign'. When an MVP suddenly shows up, with inane bug reports (from I Chronicles no less), the end is indeed near. The bug reports are intended to mask the MVP sign of the end (like the returned Jesus correcting the disciples).

Interesting Denise! I suppose since there were no Electric Blankets back then (at least as far as we know - Eccl 1:9) they probably did hood themselves up before bedtime.
From what you have said, leaving it up to the Interpreter of all things, then one might say it means ... I don't know.
Very good!

While in general I agree with Denise's signs, this particular one is sometimes a false-positive. It also occurs when an MVP has not used a feature (before or in a long while) and is getting frustrated at all the oopsies they find. Admittedly, these false-positives have become less common but re: the tags available for Community tags at the moment the watch word is "DON'T ASK [:@]"

So's to be clear, I very much appreciate MJ tracking down the tagging and the resource she's using (women of the (big) Bible). It's not a fun job.
