David Cochran's reading of the ESV

I enjoy listening to David Cochran reading the Bible.
Last week I had to turn off the internet and noticed that I no longer could listen to David.
I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to get a human reading the Bible without having an internet connection. I do not mind paying extra for that. Any Ideas. I tried to download it but it seems that is not possible.
thanks for any help.

Wouldn't buying it as an audiobook work for you? You can get it from christianaudio

Actually, if you keep an eye out, Christian Audio has it at a discount a time or two during the year. (I got Heath's reading of the KJV in the last year or two for $7.50.

Crossway graciously provided free, but limited, licenses to us for the ESV audiobook... limited in that 1) we don’t own it and 2) it is online only. There is no legal means within Logos. Your best bet is to purchase the audiobook elsewhere.

I didn't know he'd done the KJV as well! I must look out for it.

I just checked and either of his ESV or KJV can be bought there right now for $20. $15 is the come-on price, but that's for monthly members. Not sure for how long.
These are both MP3 downloads. A word of advice: some audio bibles are packaged as books in chapters. I bought Max McLean's ESV about ten years ago from Audible formatted in 11 files, treated as chapters. It's a fine reading (although I prefer Heath), but navigating and listening is quite a chore. (It wasn't cheap, either.)

I've come across many complaints about Audible's formatting of audio Bibles

Hmmm - I don't get a nice recorded voice just get the Mac robot voice. Is there anything I need to do to turn this on - for ESV on Logos Mac.

If you don't own THIS (Free), then "purchase" it. In the resource menu (ESV Book Cover), under "narrator," choose the one you want.
