Flash cards for books

I've been using a new flash card program recently called MindZip. It seems to be a pared down version of Anki programs, but it has a more user-friendly interface than one usually finds with various Anki programs, and it presents itself as being geared towards books. 

Like Anki, it uses spaced-repetition to achieve long-term memory. Unlike Anki, it doesn't have any feedback mechanisms. It actually did a few weeks ago, before they updated the app to remove those features. I could speculate as to why, but not to digress...

I've created a deck for Charles Taylor's A Secular Age using the glossary of key terms in James K.A. Smith's book How (Not) To Be Secular. I thought I would notify people here in case anyone wants to make use of it. 

If you have the MindZip app just search for the title "A Secular Age" and it should be the only deck there. If you don't have or want the MindZip app but would like the deck on Ankiweb let me know and I can export it. 

Ankiweb has some more powerful tools, but the interface is very clunky and has a steeper learning curve.

Or share your thoughts on your favorite flash-card program. Or if you would like to share decks you've created for books/courses that would be good too.

    I love Quizlet, I use it on my laptop and phone daily.

    For Greek and Hebrew words I've been using Logos Flashcards and found it to be satisfactory.

    I had forgotten all about Logos's flashcard app. I've never used it. Does it use spaced-repetition? 

    I used Quizlet a little over a year ago, but it didn't have the spaced-repetition feature that Anki programs have and which I've found to be the most effective over the years. (see here). I just went back to the site though and see that they've done a lot of work on their "Study" feature. I'll have to mess around with it some more later.

    I had to look up what "Spaced-repetition" was but now I think I understand it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_repetition

    From my using of it I think that it does use it but I could not say for sure.
