Bug: Morphology Report

When I do a morphology report from a Greek Word study I get two columns of ESV. How do I get one column of Greek text--preferably UBS and one of English? I understand it will only show five examples and I must do a full search to see all of the usages. (Which does seem like it should be unnecessary, but that is how it is.)

It sounds as though you need to change the prioritisation of your Greek Bibles.

I think you mean this report:-

which has nothing to do with Prioritization. I'll report this as a bug in the beta forum as it also occurs on 6.1 Beta 3.

Click the Search link to see the results in a Search panel where you can have two columns of (almost) any translation you choose.

I think this does relate to prioritisation

In the screenshot below I get one column of Greek and one of English - corresponding to my highest prioritised Greek and English resources (red and blue outlined respectively)

If I remove the three resources outlined in red from the prioritised list - resulting in no Greek resources there - then I get two columns of the NIV.

If I move the ESV up to the top of the prioritised list then I get two columns of ESV

What happens if, for a test, you have NRSV at the top of your prioritisation list and NA27 directly beneath it?

Thanks for that - it at least suggests that prioritisation is the issue here even if we don't fully understand why.

I had tried some re-prioritization before calling it a bug! But I have prioritized English RI bibles followed by Greek bibles and MC should have no problem with ESV and SBLGNT (or whatever is preferred in each category). I just tried your combinations and got two NIV's, or two NRSV's or two NKJV's!

I don't use Advanced Prioritisation at all. I know that MJ does and i think I have seen you referencing it as well.

I wonder if that is a factor here?

EDIT: I've just tried a simple test with Advanced Prioritisation for my NIV (highest prioritised resource) and it no longer appears in the Morph Charts.

I prioritized SBLGNT just below the ESV and finally got MC to use both. I moved it gradually lower. When an LXX bible intervened MC went back to 2x ESV! Move it above the LXX and both are used.
