Feeling Moody Lately?

I was just cross-referencing my library with the website and running into an unexpected dead end. I then realized my snag was a result of the resource being a Moody product...which motivates me to wonder if Logos has made any progress on the Moody front. Any improvement in the status quo?

I was wondering the same thing recently. I think we just have to be patient and continue to hope something can be worked out.

They wouldn't tell us if there were, I'm sure.

I used to frequently recommend Moody titles to those in classes and in mentoring, but, since nearly everyone is now using Logos, there's no sense in recommending something they can't get in Logos. It's a shame! Wish this were resolved soon . . .

In the meantime, maybe this helps a bit: https://vyrso.com/products/search?q=-GenreGroup%3A*Fiction+-GenreGroup%3ACooking+-GenreGroup%3AHealth*&Publisher=Moody&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60
EDIT: since it looks a bit intimidating: the above link gives the 700+ Moody-published titles in Vyrso format (excluding those in the fiction, health and cooking genres).
By looking into this myself, I found an absolute gem for Lent (or any other seasonal or non-seasonal reading): FW Krummacher's Suffering Savior - great insights for less than a dollar. Krummacher is hailed in the biographical preface as Germany's greatest preacher in the 19th century and probably is best-known for his Elijah the Tishbite which we have in PB form thanks to Dominick Sela. /EDIT

FWIW. At a pastor's conference this year, I ran into a Moody Book Rep. I told him that I used Logos Bible Software, and I was really interested in having Moody titles back in Logos. He said that there were negotiations taking place, and that there was progress, and he felt that we should be getting them back "in weeks, not months." The issue, from his perspective, was that they were getting almost nothing for each volume.
I am not interested in slamming either Moody or Logos. I just think it would be in everyones interest to have them back, even if we have to pay a little more for them.

When this all first started I was on the fence about buying all the Moody titles that I had on my wishlist at the time. It was a couple hundred bucks at the time. Now we are into, over a year (?), without these titles and I've been thankful that I did what I did. Seeing how Logos has handled other situations in the past, I am not optimistic that we will ever see Moody titles in Logos again. Now if the same happened to Crossway titles....

I had put off buying MacArthur's NT commentaries, relying on my print copies and waiting for a good sale on the Logos ones. Alas, I didn't read about the issue between Logos and Moody till it was too late.
Speaking of Krummacher, Spurgeon wrote the following in Commenting and Commentaries: "Anything by Krummacher is worthy of patient reading.
