Visual Copy Options

Why does it bring up a different group of backgrounds every time I use it? When doing a single sermon, I want all my verses on the screen to have a consistent background. Sometimes I can get the one I already used to reappear, and sometimes not. Very frustrating. I think, at least, the last one used should should show up when you click Visual Copy the next time.

Some resources have special slides for that resource (I.e ESV, NIV, etc). Some authors have special slides (I.e spurgeon). Some references have "verse of the day" art made for them. In all cases, I think the stock backgrounds should be available.

I agree with this! It is frustrating that you cannot choose the same background for different verses. A clumsy work around is to leave the original visual copy window open from the first verse and then change the scripture reference manually.

Even that doesn't work for me.

I should have said that I am specifically referring to putting Scriptures, not quotes from other resources.

I am somewhat new to Logos 6, but I agree that this doesn't work smoothly. I have used Ed's "clumsy workaround" (keep changing the content and verse reference manually) and haven't found it too bad. I also have saved a blank of the background I am using, so I can use the same background for title and outline points as well as Bible verses.

- Cannot edit font. (NOT ALL SLIDES works the same)
- Cannot edit font size (Both #1 & #2 causes texts to disappear on the bottom on certain slides)
- Does not display all slides at once. What if I want to use the SAME slide twice?? I have to scroll down and hunt the same slide AGAIN?? C'mon, that's ridiculous and time wasting.
- Cannot adjust the space on the words. The cut off on the sentences are weird.
- Scrolling is the terrible; once you picked a slide, if you scroll down again, you'll see the same slides you saw earlier.
- It suppose to save time (saw this line somewhere by logos' employee), but it wasted hours of my time trying to figure out the spacing and adjustments for the slides.

Mike - there is an obvious and simple fix to that issue...
There is WAY too much text on that slide, so split it up.
