I recently showed someone how F8 lets you draw on the screen in Logos Bible Software.

See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4XPnCbJbWo

And F7 brings up a quick text-comparison pop-over window when you use it in a Bible, or even while hovering over a Bible reference link.

These aren't easily discovered features, so I thought I'd mention them again for new users....

Aw, I knew about those. I thought you were going to tell us about some secret keystroke combination that would bring up an Easter egg. Are there any of those hidden in Logos? Smile

I'd just like to know about the secret Ctrl-F5 shortcut on the homepage (Windows version; don't know about Macs).

Offline, F5 (refresh) on the homepage goes and gets a succession of book snippets (I have everything turned off possible).

Ctrl-F5 (being secret, it's not in the new Logos Help manual) appears to go get the Logos'y stuff (which, offline, is mainly media and pointers to blogs, etc).  But I haven't seen exactly how it works, since Ctrl-F5 also appears to execute F5 after Ctrl-F5.  It's hush, hush.

Oh, and typing FSD (Facilitate Serendipitous Discovery) into the command bar is another secret feature. It opens a random resource to a random place.

And I was just recently reminded about the little-known gestures that you can do on screen with the mouse.

I knew many of these but others were new.

There's probably a secret "unlock all resources" command somewhere ... Cool

I literally laughed at loud. That's "God mode" in the gaming world (and I don't mean any disrespect at all here; it's just a reference to current culture*).

*I find it strange that I felt compelled to say that. Stick out tongue

There's a "God mode" in Windows, too. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/GodMode-Windows-7-How-to,9345.html

The secret "unlock all resources" command in Logos is called "get a job at Faithlife." Smile
